Dome
Date: 8-13 June
Venue: Place François de Menthon, Annecy
A portable geodesic dome will take over Place François de Menthon in Annecy from June 7 to 13 as part of the Hungarian Focus program, creating a bold new space for film and immersive art.
Equipped with advanced dome projection technology, this unique venue will offer a specially curated selection of contemporary and archival Hungarian films, all reimagined for a 360-degree viewing experience.
This is a first for Annecy, a completely new format that has never been seen before. It’s the Hungarian organizing team, in close collaboration with the city and the festival, who are making it happen. Bringing such an innovative concept to life is is something we can truly be proud of.
The program is presented in collaboration with the Hungarian House of Music and celebrates the richness and innovation of Hungarian audiovisual culture.
