
Eszter Kajlik
After completing a two-year course in animation, Eszter studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at the Hungarian University of Theatre and Film Arts (SZFE). Following the occupation of SZFE, she finished her studies and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna (mdw) in cooperation with the Freeszfe Society. Her first animated film ‘Call Center’ had its Baltic premiere at PÖFF. Eszter had demonstrated excellent ability to capture the essence of difficult topics such as obstetric violence in her short animated documentary ‘Another One for Daddy’ about the husband stitch, which traveled the world with Trés Court International Film Festival’s global screenings, had a tremendous reception in Hungary and won the jury’s award at MAX3MIN festival in Milan. Currently, she is working on her first feature film – an animated documentary about obstetric violence titled ‘Let Me Give Birth in Peace’.
