Péter Vácz is an animation director from Budapest, Hungary. His 2013 graduation short film Rabbit and Deer won over 125 festival awards worldwide, including the Junior Jury Award at Annecy. He has since directed two stop-mo music videos for British rock band James (All I’m Saying, Dear John), the live-action short Pillowface, and several animated commercials and poem adaptations.

Beyond filmmaking, Péter teaches workshops globally and since 2023 he is the president and founding member of the Hungarian Society of Animation Artists – AA1 advocating for the growth of the industry.
