Háry János, a classic Hungarian animated feature from 1983, is reborn as an immersive dome experience. In this session, Péter Tóth presents the production techniques behind the transformation of a handmade television fairy tale into a form-breaking spatial adaptation.

Péter Tóth presents the work-in-progress adaptation of the 1983 animated classic Háry János for immersive dome projection. The talk explores production techniques for deconstructing original materials, re-compositing in a 3D projection space, and expanding the content—all with the aim of making a fairy-tale world originally composed for TV accessible as a lived experience for future generations.
